My Photo Gallery - Hospital
I stayed in the hospital (the Rex Hospital Special Care Nursery) from my birthday until October 12. I had to kick a slight apnea of prematurity problem. All of these pictures (other than my birthday ones)were taken in the SCN.

September 5, 2006: Birth Day
These pictures are of the nurses doing their thing right after my C-section delivery.
They're attaching a numbered armband to me in this picture, with some info about mom and me on it. Mom and dad both got the same armband. The hospital uses this when we leave to make sure I leave with the right set of parents.

I had to stay in this isolette for a while, until I could control my body temperature a bit better.

Me with my dad. Note the gowns; all visitors to the Special Care Nursery need to wear them. The Band-Aid is from where an IV was in my head; that looks painful but is preferable to my hands, because they flail around a lot.

My mom feeding me. Looks like I was still skeptical about that whole bottle thing.
Check out my new digs - a regular crib. By now I was already able to keep my body temperature under control, so no need for me to stay in the "box".

The first time I saw Mom and Dad without their gowns.
Those pictures of the three of us were taken by this nurse, Amy N.

I do like these green Soothie pacifiers. No milk comes out of them for some reason, but they taste better than people's fingers.

It was getting a bit boring at the Special Care Nursery. Mom and Dad brought this toy to see if it would entertain me, but I barely noticed it.
